My name is Casey Cassidy and I am your Democratic candidate for Missouri State Representative, House District 117.
I grew up in St. Francois County, and I have a deep understanding of the challenges our community faces, as well as the wealth of opportunities it holds. I believe it's time for a new era of leadership—one that prioritizes the needs of hardworking families like yours and mine.
What I Believe
🔹 Public Education: Every child deserves a quality education, no matter where they live. I will work to increase funding for public schools and fight to ensure our teachers are paid what they deserve.
🔹 Affordable Healthcare: Healthcare should be affordable and accessible for everyone. I’ll push to make sure no one has to choose between paying bills and getting the care they need.
🔹 Support for Unions & the Middle Class: A strong middle class depends on unions and fair wages. I will always stand with workers, fighting for fair wages, safe working conditions, and protecting the rights of Missouri’s workforce.
🔹 Expanding Social Security, Medicare, & Medicaid: I support expanding these critical programs to ensure our seniors and vulnerable families can live with dignity, without the fear of losing their benefits.
🔹 Women’s Rights & Reproductive Freedom: I am committed to defending women’s rights, including access to abortion services, IVF, and fertility treatments. I believe in protecting reproductive freedom for all.
🔹 Protecting Our Children: Protecting children from sexual abuse is one of my top priorities. I’m advocating for stronger laws and tougher punishments for those who abuse or exploit children.
